Axial enhanced CT images show an irregular enhancing mass lesion
in the right cervical region encasing the carotid vessels. Mass effect
producing slight asymmetry of the oral pharynx is noted.
Axial enhanced CT images more superiorly show a right nasopharnygeal mass
that enlarges the torus tubarius and obliterates the fossa of Rosenmuller. The mass
extends inferiorly along the lateral wall of the oropharynx and posterolaterally into
the carotid space. The prevertebral space also appears to be involved.
Note the bilateral cervical lymphadenopathy.
