Legend
Nonenhanced axial CT images of the head show a large high density lesion
centered in the right basal ganglia with significant mass effect, obliterating the
right lateral ventricle and producing mid line shift. High-density material is
also seen in the left frontal horn. A low-density oval area is seen in the left
parietal white matter lateral to the occipital horn.
Legend
Nonenhanced axial CT images show the superior extension of the high-density
lesion. Again seen is the left parietal white matter low-density area with
compensatory dilation of the left occipital horn.
