Legend
Images 1 & 2: Axial proton density weighted and T2 weighted images of brain
reveal diffuse bilateral hyperintense white matter lesions.
Legend
Images 3 & 4: Axial T2 weighted images demonstrate again the diffuse white
matter lesions on both sides of the brain. The lateral ventricular system is prominent
with exception of the Rt temporal horn that is abnormally slit-like in appearance.
Legend
Images 5 & 6: Axial post gadolinium T1 weighted images show multifocal
ependymal enhancement in both Rt and Lt lateral ventricles.
Legend
Images 7 & 8: Coronal and sagittal T1 weighted images reveal dilated lateral and
third ventricles. Subtle hypointense areas are demonstrated in periventricular region.
Images 9 & 10: Coronal post gadolinium T1 weighted images demonstrate
extensive nodular ependymal enhancement in the lateral, third and fourth ventricles.
The enhancement is more intense in the Rt temporal horn than its left counterpart.
